a single sparkling sapphire pool

30.3.2019

through you, a single sparkling sapphire pool, I unlocked at the bottom, a river that lead to an ocean. it unlocked the vastness and eagerness for forgiveness of my nature; the hope and desire for an eternal love; the hopelessness of waiting and the consuming feeling of a heartbreak. I drowned once and twice more to a haven of moving, churning, longing and regret. past it, I found an ever-boiling body of love for the universe. pools are selfishness and regret and filled with non-permanence and sin. through you, my obsession, I found love. I was afraid of romance for I feared it would consume me in ways that I never could imagine. it did. however, without it, how else could I have realised the lack of breadth and depth of my experience and knowledge of love? through the ocean, millions of pools can be created. now, it is up to me.
